Not sure how it works to be honest, because re-writing history is all well and good but if they are using real players etc how does that work when you've completely changed a club's historical path? Would Jimmy Greaves leave Chelsea still if they in the game are actually winning titles rather than frustrating him by not getting close enough? Would Nat Lofthouse have his head turned by the likes of Man Utd if in the game Bolton are in the 2nd division at that time or something? In which case it'd be no different an experience to playing FM years ahead as we normally do.Also, with the tactical knowledge we have accrued with hindsight, couldn't we just revolutionise the game right at the beginning by playing a 4-4-2 against a 2-3-5 or something?I'd like to try it, but am sceptical as whether it'll be any good or not.
