Hey I followed the directions (I thought) on how to put the spoiler in but evendently I didn’t do it right. I would appreciate any help for dummies on how to do this correctly. Thanks in advance. Thank you to who answer my question about the money back to the town. I don’t remember your name. But I really appreciate the information. I restarted the game 3 or 4 times trying to save the farm.

I also blew up the rocks by the skinny rocks blocking the path up to the other side where the hidden treasure is. I am talking about the slope between the water panning site between the one on the right and the old prospector.

Then I could build a regular gold mine sooner. Hope it helps someone. I found a fun glitch!!

When in the little pumpkin headed area the headless horseman was going after one of my people and she got fed up from being hungry and left before he got to herand he just stayed theresat right there where she used to be and didn’t take away anyone else. It made it alot easier to build up to meet the goals. It ended normally once I got all three graveyards built. So feel free to starve your people there and just let new ones come in. If you’re lucky the headless horseman may get “stuck” waiting for a person that left town.

I am seeing the same questions:Population problems? You need at lelast 5 people in tents. Build a lumber camp. Build a well, Build a farm. Employee all 5 then go off and find either gold or silver – the gold rocks have gold streaks, the silver rocks have white streaks (pay no attention to the flashing star color). Open up the ‘Store Screen’ and purchase the Log Cabin. As soon as you have enough for one log cabin, blow up two tents.

Have your people build the cabin. Do this 3 times so you have 3 cabins. Now you have 6 people and shoulld have enough for Gold Panning Mine. Put 2 on the Farm, 2 on the Lumber Camp, and 2 on the Mine. Remember keep building cabins so your folks stay happy AND you need to employ a Sheriff before you can go over 15 pop.

Black Stallion – plan on building 3 stables. Once the third stable is built the stallion will appear in the stable.White Rabbit – this one took a bit of planning. Build 3 Farms – employee 1 person at each farm. I had to grow carrots on each farm before the white rabbit appeared. Give chase and as you get close he is crated up. Take a step back then go forward to unlock the crate. The husband gets the bunny.Silver Ring – plan on having a Blacksmith.

Mine silver – the rocks with white/silver streaks until you get a message to take the silver to the Blacksmith. Once finished give the ring to the man.Red Flowers – build a flower pot and water it.

Second Town – Trading Post in Upper Left Corner – the guy tells you it won’t be the same until you shore up the hillside. Plan on buying 7 packets of Tree Seeds. Go up to the corner and start planting as much as you can following the red markers from one side to the river and across the wagon tracks.Racking in the Gold – Keep up by building 2 panning mines so when the first gives out you’ve got the second.

Now you’ve already built a Blacksmith to make the silver ring. Go to the ‘store screen’ and if you haven’t done so already – buy the Gold Mine (you should have had this at Town 1). Place the Gold mine to the right of the 3 men who challenge you to a contest – it’s the bubble gum looking outcropping.Meadow – That Big Tree blocking your way to the meadow is Not the BIG Tree from the challenge. Use 2 sticks of dynamite to blow it up and proceed on. The BIG Tree is just below the Trading Post with three bears guarding it. Lumber Camp Horror – Trees Trees and NO Trees – During Town 1 you need to go to the store screen and under the ‘upgrades’ tab buy Tree Seeds. If you haven’t done it before Town 2 then fix it!

The employees who are professional woodcutters – not the normal townfolks can plant the seeds for you. Seeds cost about 80 so plan ahead.Gold Mine Nightmares – At your gold mine try to get 3 prospectors to mine for you – it goes faster and have at least one if not two gunslingers hanging around the mine (not the panning mine but the mine in the hillside) in case of attack.Feast or Famine – You need a granery for every 10 people max – I usually put one for six. Every fourth cabin gets a well. If you go hunting the animals do come back yet are mighty slow to return.

Your best bet for food is fishing – just click on the fish and your Hero or town folk pulls out a fishing pole. You get 2 food for every fish theycatch. The Reading Room – Yes too many is not good, not enough is worse. As soon as you get about 20 people go to the store screen and the luxuries tab and purchase an outhouse. You will need 1 outhouse for every 10 townfolk. Planting a flowerpot next to the outhouse seems to keep everyone happy as well. You won’t have time in Town 1 but try to git er done in Town 2Particulars for Town 2 – Need 2 Gold mines that are guarded – one in the meadow area on the right side of the screen and one near the challengers in the center.

Two lumber camps – one near the sunken house and one near the middle of the screen by the pond – remember those seeds! Three Stables. Two guards at the mines. One Sheriff and partridge in a pear tree!

(Just joking about the last). Now here’s a question – during Town 1 when you go to fetch the drill for the mechanic and you have all those foot pads – where is the key to the gate that holds the dynamite so you can get to the gold in the center of the maze? The gate is in the upper right corner and needs a key not a foot pad.

If anyone knows please pass along.A Tip – Before doing the quest thingys or the trading post quests or the wanted posters just do a quick save and keep updating as you go along. This way you dont go bannanas when you have to restart a quest!: ). My Way of the Lumberjacks – Pick up gold and wood and put the two people to work at the Lumber Camp.

The Lumber Yard doesn’t seem to do anything – my wood count stays the same until I employee both folks at the camp.Bridge 1 – goes near the tent area – you cross the bridge to pick up 2 dynamite and gold and wood. Blow Up 1 & 2 – Walk in the water near the panning mine to find rock slide 1 – use dynamite to blow it up. Walk to the first island and rescue the dude then send him to the panning mine.

Use dynamite 2 on the next rockslide and rescue the dude on the second island (this is to the left of the screen) – send this guy to the panning mine. While panning there are earthquakes. To the Right and up there is an island that holds 2 pieces of gold. You may havwe to help your folks along by chopping wood and mining gold/silver. Build Bridge 3 & 4 on this island – one going from the lumber camps across the island and the other reaching the side near the dinking lumberjack. Send the lumberjack across the bridges to the camps or the one that is still standing.

Go down and to your left. Mine for gold. As soon as you get enough wood/gold have one lumberjack build a store.

Fire that lumberjack from the camp and employee them at the store. It may take a bit but dynamite will show up for sale (you should already have this upgrade). 3rd Blow Up – Blow Up the rocks and rescue the lumber jack – send her across and let her stew or put her to work. Stop mining gold. Meanwhile look around the meadow and pick up gold and chop wood. Build a bridge near where the previous lumberjack stood to get to the goodies in the middle.

Then get back down to the lumber yard. Build another bridge and cross it to the last lumberjack. If you really like torture try to build the Traders Cabin – its a mini quest near the lumber camps. I built minimally and was patient and gathered lots of resources before I starte building more buildingmakes sense as you just waste money on repairing them with fires/earthquakesby building resources I let it save up more than 1000 of each wood/gold then started building what I needed. Luxury items to create happiness are wayyy more expensive to repair so leave those to the last possible minute. When you are close to finishingwait till you get earthquake and right after than start buildingflower potsclock church for happiness.

Took a long time but was worth it.Am still trying to get pumpkin leveltried not feeding people and had them panning and logging but 2 left one right after the other and then horseman came and took last civilian.and I had 2 cemetaries toodarn it! Sue ann — you get that on one of the little side missions when you first learn how to use it it’s kind of an automatic thingtodd — yes! Go back and finish!! Lol let me know if you need any secret stuff from westward 2i’ve got all of that stuffvitamin– that has been answered previously, as I needed it toocheck out todds posts, he helped me out with that same thingtalisha– follow the trail and you’ll see what looks like a pile of wood and cratesthat is the outpostthe little cabin and man are NOT the outpost. Click on the outpost and it will cost 140 wood and 140 gold to rebuild itlater you can change it to a train depot and then get train trackssandyljens–build more stablesyou’ll get another one eventually:).

Fame- the 2 hidden challenges are. At the first camp you need to build 3 carrot farms to get the white rabbit. When you get the white rabbit take him to the small cave just right of the archway that goes over the river.

The rabbit will go down in the cave and come back with a piece of paper that tells you about 3 keys. You need to find the 3 keys then to open the treasure chestthe second hidden treasure is the sunken treasure at the second camp you build.

Blow up the tree at the top of the map, left of the fenced in area that has the treasure chest in. The tree falls on the pressure plate and allows you to read what youi need to do for that treasure( the trick to this one is to get the key, then build the well in the blue rock and go down the well right away. Dont blow it up or leave before you do. Too many ppl werent able to go down later).
