Our group hit Aspen from sea level so used Conundrum Creek trail as a great hike swimming in wild flowers. We went to the first log bridge and return for 5 miles RT. Good altitude gain and equally good trail, well marked. Cranium Conundrum has now been greenlit! Within the next couple of days Alpha 0.6e will be purchasable for early access within the steam store. Here we have a trailer showing off what to expect. Conundrum Hot Springs/Conundrum Creek Trail is great for backpacking and normally takes a full day each way. It takes about 5-8 hours to hike in and 3-6 hours to hike out, on average. The trail is at high elevation, beginning at about 8,000 feet and ending at about 11,200 feet. The hike in is almost entirely uphill, at a fairly easy grade.

There’s a joy to playing card collecting games (CCGs). Sure, getting past the learning curve takes time, especially if you have had minimal experience with them. However, once you master the concepts and intricacies, you still won’t be satisfied because you’re still going to take your act online. In addition, you will inevitably endeavor to gather all the rare cards you can.Things are no different Order & Chaos Duels. There’s a steep learning curve, especially since there are hundreds of cards, each with a variety of effects. There are rare cards and an online multiplayer mode, and we’re sure you will end up spending countless hours playing it. However, is it something you should be spending time on? Let’s find out.
Order & Chaos Duels starts by letting you choose your hero. You will have a lot of choices: from elven archers, a human warrior monk, an orc berserker, and an undead warlock. Note that your choice is extremely important since it will decide which types of cards you will receive from the get-go. After you’ve selected your hero, you will then dive deep into the story. In a nutshell, you’re being rescued from prison by an attractive lady, and you will have to fight the guards off by dueling them with cards. There’s some Yu-Gi-Oh-esque storyline right there, but we really don’t mind: the gameplay is what stands out.
After which, you will then go through the tutorials. Fortunately, they are pretty straightforward in orienting you about the game’s concepts and the duels’ user interface and touch-based controls. You will be taught how to sacrifice cards for mana to enable you to summon your minions into the field, use equipment cards to strengthen your hero, and how to use hero skills. For CCG veterans, the game is a lot more simple than favorites like Urban Rivals, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. For newbies, the concepts might be a lot to take in, but nevertheless, the tutorial explains them well and you will know what you’re doing after you’ve gone past the phase.
Once you’re done with the tutorials, you will proceed to the Order & Chaos Duels map and go through the story. The single player campaign mode isn’t the most exciting out there, nor is the plot an outstanding one. Regardless, the best way to treat campaign is to make it a battlefield wherein you can master the intricacies of the game, gather and collect powerful cards, and level up to prepare for the bigger battles ahead in the multiplayer mode. Speaking of which, the online experience in Order & Chaos Duels isn’t robust, but it works well. In Raid mode, you will fight an AI opponent, but with a deck of a human player. Meanwhile, Ranked duels are fought against real human players.
Overall, Order & Chaos Duels is a CCG game that is relatively easy to get into, and is a must-play for both newbies and card game fanatics. With easy controls, intuitive interfaces, attractive art, and fun mechanics, it provides a polished experience that would last countless hours. Give it a shot and see if it’s a game you would like!
